Game Notes · PC / Steam

If I had known that stat raising was the primary focus of the game I probably wouldn’t have bought it, tbh. I don’t regret it because I ended up enjoying the characters…but…I really hate stat-raising. I hate the gameplay. The game seems quite long, but that’s mostly due to stat raising. The story parts are actually quite short. I wish they were longer.

The drama level of the plot was truly Korean, LOL. It was interesting to experience the cultural difference between Korean and Japanese otome games. Surprisingly enough the heroine’s p. relatable and so are her problems. Her struggles felt real despite all the fantasy stuff going on. The voice acting was confusing at first (not used to hearing Korean language when playing), but once I got past that I was able to enjoy myself…more or less (the stat raising, man…).

Jieun -> Jihae -> Jiyeon -> Jiwoo -> Jisoo (-> epilogue)

♡ = favorite character

  • student majoring in business administration, but actually likes drawing and art
  • living a dull life and trying to please her mother in every aspect
  • she can’t be happy as long as her mother is part of her life
  • her personality & role in the relationship changes depending on her partner
  • at times a p. realistic/relatable character

CV: Lee Gyuchang

  • sadly no route, but only a bonus chapter/epilogue
  • my kind of yandere guy tbh ( ̄∀ ̄*)
  • how sad  and lonely must it be for him?! He’s only visible to those who have a desperate wish and once he grants them that wish they immediately forget about his existence again… ;_;
  • falls in love with Heejung after observing her miserable life (lol, dude ;_; )
  • he starts ‘the game’ to give Heejung a desperate wish and make her seek him out, so he can meet her, but after meeting her he want’s to meet her again and again so he keeps rewinding time and repeating the cycle……AAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAaAA ;_;
  • ends up wishing to be reborn into the same world as Heejung, so he can be with her
  • I LOVE HIM!!!!

(in play order)

Jieun   ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
CV: Lee Kyungtae

  • quiet and gentle personality
  • actually a bunny prince
  • cute oneshota route (*/▽\*)
  • he’s very attached to Jihae, he can’t do anything without Jihae, all he ever talks about is Jihae, ARE THEY MARRIED???
  • Heejung helps him to be more independent
  • the only route with a “true” happy end, because Heejung never gets to meet the wizard (and never loses part of her memory)
  • I guess this route kinda made me ship Jieun and Jihae…..

Jihae   ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆
CV: Choi Nakyoon

  • Jieun’s mom boyfriend knight, beautiful gentleman
  • in his world he’s regarded as ugly due to his silver hair
  • so much drama, SO MUCH DRAMA
  • spends all of his free time peeling apples for Jieun feels like he has no worth, so he’s been sacrificing everything for Jieun’s sake
  • Heejung is an awkward maiden in love, who helps him to forget the tragic events of his past and learn to love again
  • he’s working part-time as a model and his fangirls ship him and Jieun…….. heh :3c

Jiyeon   ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
CV: Kim Myungjun

  • likes oranges and taking baths (??!?!?!)
  • actually a yankee gigolo, who tells lies to get girls to like him and buy him stuff
  • all smiles and sunshine on the surface
  • has a tragic past, so he can’t trust anybody and is only nice as long as he can maintain emotional distance to that person
  • Heejung is meddlesome and spends half a year being useless, worrying and running after him while he keeps insulting and rejecting her
  • gap moe gone wrong
  • this route actually rubbed me the wrong way, the change from cute guy to asshole and back didn’t work at all

Jiwoo(♡)  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
CV: Lee Seongil

  • romance novel and drama specialist, likes cabbage
  • actually a very smart guy
  • i-it’s not like he loves you, baka!!!
  • Heejung is kind of a sadist, since she keeps teasing him all year long
  • romance novels, movies and dramas are his research material on how to be a good boyfriend and capture a girl’s heart kyaaa—-!!!! ////////
  • best-paced romance
  • Jiwoo telling off Heejung’s mom was one of the coolest scenes ever
  • his novel/love letter at the end made me tear up

Jisoo   ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
CV: Lim Kyungmung

  • pervy black cat…no seriously, what’s with that sitting pose?!
  • taking care of his little (terminally ill) cat sister in his world
  • a very loving and caring guy, except for when he’s yandere
  • tends to become super jealous and controlling (his bad end was the scariest in the whole game, seriously)
  • initially only interested in winning the game for his sister’s sake (although also somehow feeling guilty about that), but then he ends up falling for Heejung
  • he hates taking baths…I didn’t wanna know (I’m looking at you, Ozmafia)
  • Heejung is kind of M
